New Britain Surgery Center is an outpatient surgical and procedural facility licensed in the State of Pennsylvania. We are owned and operated by physicians and Abington Jefferson Hospital. Your surgeon may have ownership in the center. You have a right to choose the provider and facility for your health care services.

Our Doctors
Our doctors and anesthesiologists have been credentialled according to AAAHC standards. Information is available upon request. Doctors carry malpractice insurance meeting, at a minimum, State of Pennsylvania requirements.
Advance Directives
We do not honor advance directives or living wills that do not allow resuscitation. If you have an advance directive or living will, we will still transfer you to the closest hospital which can make decisions about following any advance directive or living will. We will inform you of our policy prior to the date of your admission.
You do have the right to have your living will present in our medical record. State information and forms to prepare an advance directive, if you wish to have one, it can be found at www.aging.state.pa.us Or contact the local agency for aging 717.783.8975.
Grievances
If you have complaints or concerns regarding your care at New Britain Surgery Center, please fill out a grievance form available from our front desk. For consumer complaints, contact the Pennsylvania Dept. of Health.
